Position control
Power stage
Extended control functionality
Analog demand signal setting
Unipolar analog sensor interfaces
PWM controlled output for two solenoids (directional)
Analog monitor output signal
USB communication interface for monitoring and parameterization

Technical Data

Features

The POS-323 hydraulic control unit is used for the precise control of a hydraulic axis.

The control unit is designed for use in a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and is mounted on a DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.

The device features an integrated valve amplifier with a PWM output of up to 2.6A. Analog inputs for setpoint and actual position values are scalable, and monitor inputs output setpoint and actual values. Two digital inputs are also provided for the residual speed mode.

The Automatic Commissioning Assistant (ACA) measures the valve overlap (MIN:A/MIN:B) and determines the controller parameters. The RVP parameter defines the position threshold at which the residual speed mode becomes active.

Parameterization is performed PC-based using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.

The ACA is the central feature, encompassing polarity detection, sensor scaling, and dynamic analysis. Another key feature is the residual velocity mode for the tight closure of process valves.
