PID-131-U

Universal
PID control structure

Description

This universal module is used for PID control of proportional systems for physical quantities such as force, pressure, rotational speed, or velocity. Its special feature lies in the flexibility to easily switch between two different sets of control parameters via a switching input.

Features

PID control structure
Analog demand signal setting
Unipolar analog sensor interfaces
Bipolar analog control output
Unipolar analog control output
USB communication interface for monitoring and parameterization

Technical Data

Features

The PID-131-U is a hydraulic control unit for general proportional control of systems. It is designed as a classic PID controller with additional feedforward control and is suitable for force, pressure, speed, or velocity control.

The unit is designed for installation within a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a standard DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.

A configurable differential output (+/- 10V or 4...20mA) is provided. An analog sensor (0...10V or 4...20mA) is used to detect the current state. A switching input (S0) allows switching between two independent parameter sets.

Key parameters include the PID values (C1:P, C1:I, C1:D), the feedforward value (FF), and the integrator activation threshold (C1:I_Act). An additional PT1 controller section can be connected in parallel for stabilization. Configuration is performed via PC using the WPC software and the integrated USB interface.
The configuration is carried out on a PC using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.

Special features include two switchable parameter sets for different operating points and a remote control function for operation via the serial interface.
