As a flexible hydraulic control unit with an integrated power output stage, it offers simple automatic commissioning (ACA) and advanced customization via FlexiMod (script programming). It also features an integrated simulation function for offline verification of the controller and system design.
The POS-321 hydraulic control unit is used for positioning hydraulic actuators and features an integrated valve amplifier.
The control unit is designed for use in a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and is mounted on a DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating. The housing is made of polyamide and has a V0 fire protection rating.
The control unit has a PWM output with a current of up to 2.6A. The module offers scalable analog inputs of 0...10V or 4...20mA for setpoint and actual value, as well as additional free input and output pins whose function can be defined via script.
Key parameters include the current (CURRENT) for controlling the valve solenoids, the dither frequency (DFREQ), and the dither amplitude (DAMPL). Automatic controller setting is enabled by default, and the SDD and NC modes are available in VMODE for positioning control.
Parameterization is performed via PC using the WPC software through the integrated USB interface.
