This universal hydraulic control unit offers precise position control using analog sensors. It enables fast, robust control of a hydraulic axis and includes a power output stage for direct valve actuation.
The POS-123-P hydraulic control unit is a module designed to control hydraulic positioning drives, optimized for robust stroke-dependent deceleration (SDD) or high-precision NC control.
The unit is designed for installation within a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a standard DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.
The module features a PWM power output stage (up to 2.6 A) for direct valve control. It also utilizes one analog input to determine the actual position and another for the target position.
Key parameters include the control mode (VMODE), which allows the user to select between SDD and NC operation. In SDD mode, A (acceleration time) and D (braking distance) define the motion profile, while MIN/MAX and Trigger settings compensate for valve overlap; output stage parameters such as CURRENT, PWM, and DITHER are also configurable.
Parameterization is performed PC-based using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.
The control unit supports advanced control techniques such as drift compensation and fine positioning.
