This hydraulic control unit is designed for the synchronized control of two cylinders using a bypass arrangement. Its unique feature lies in the control concept, where a flow divider sets the volumetric flow rate, while the bypass valve merely corrects the remaining error with high precision. The integrated power output stage enables direct control of proportional valves.
The CSC-151-P hydraulic control unit is a specialized synchronization control module designed to synchronize two cylinders using a bypass method. The control concept relies on a flow divider to set the volumetric flow rate, while the bypass valve precisely corrects only the residual error.
The control unit is designed for installation in a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.
The CSC-151-P features an integrated power output stage capable of handling solenoid currents up to 2.6 A. Analog signals (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) serve as actual-value inputs for both axes. Three digital inputs are used to control and activate the automation function.
Key parameters include the control deviation window (INPOS), which defines monitoring accuracy, as well as the MIN, MAX, and TRIGGER parameters for optimal adaptation to valve characteristics. Additionally, output stage parameters (CURRENT), dither parameters (DAMPL and DFREQ), and the PWM frequency are significant.
Parameterization is performed PC-based using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.
A distinctive feature of the CSC-151-P is its high-speed signal processing, with a sampling time of 1 ms for the controller and 125 µs for the solenoid current circuit.
