The universal CSC-152-P hydraulic control unit is designed to synchronize up to four axes in a master/slave configuration using analog setpoint and actual-value signals. A key feature is the combination of robust stroke-dependent braking and a superimposed synchronization controller specifically optimized for use with zero-lap control valves. The integrated power output stage enables direct control of proportional valves.

The control unit is designed for installation in a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.
The control unit features an integrated power output stage for the direct connection of proportional solenoids drawing up to 2.6 A. The module processes analog inputs for target position, actual position, velocity, and master actual position.
Key parameters include the number of axes (AXES) and the definition of the axis function within the system (AXIS_FUNC). Control performance is determined by the synchronization gain—GL:P (in SDD mode) and GL:V0 (in NC mode)—as well as the damping factor (GL:T1). As with other modules, parameters such as MIN, MAX, TRIGGER, and CURRENT are used to configure the power output stage.
Parameterization is performed PC-based using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.
A distinctive feature of this unit is its flexibility regarding setpoint input, which includes support for joystick operation (JSCMODE). Additionally, the COMMON function enables the parallel distribution of a 4–20 mA signal to multiple modules.
