The DSG-111-P is a digital setpoint module that can retrieve up to 16 setpoints and ramp times via binary inputs. It enables the analog setpoint input to be linked to digital setpoints via mathematical functions and offers valve adaptation such as overlap compensation. An integrated power output stage for proportional valves is available as an option.
The DSG-111-P is a digital setpoint module designed to control proportional valves.
The module is intended for installation in a shielded EMC housing (switch cabinet) and is mounted on a DIN rail. The protection class is IP20.
It uses a 4–20 mA or 0–10 V analog input signal for control. The input value can be mathematically processed in conjunction with 16 setpoints that are selectable via four digital inputs. The module provides two PWM outputs capable of delivering up to 2.6 A.
Key parameters include the 16 digital setpoints (S:0–S:15) and their corresponding ramp times (RA:0–RA:15). Alternatively, a four-quadrant ramp (RMODE=4Q) can be activated for the setpoint. Other important parameters include overlap compensation (MIN) and output signal scaling (MAX) for valve adaptation. Additionally, the nominal solenoid current (CURRENT), PWM frequency, and dither function (DFREQ, DAMPL) - used to reduce hysteresis - are relevant settings.
The configuration is carried out on a PC using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.
The DSG-111-P is suitable for signal adaptation and characteristic curve adjustment of control valves, as well as for rapid/creep speed control with selectable speeds and accelerations. The P-version also functions as a universal valve amplifier.
