MDR-133-P

Extremely high
signal resolution

Description

This control unit is used for the precise regulation of pressures and forces and is characterized by extremely high signal resolution. It is specifically optimized for use in test benches and industrial applications where maximum reproducibility is required.

Technical Data

Features

The MDR-133-P hydraulic control unit is designed for pressure regulation and engineered for applications demanding exceptional signal resolution and reproducibility. It features an optimized control strategy for pressure-limiting and pressure-reducing valves.

The unit is designed for installation within a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a standard DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.

Control is achieved using analog pressure setpoint and actual value signals. The module includes a PWM power output stage (up to 2.6 A) for the direct control of a proportional valve.

Key parameters include PID controller settings (C:P, C:I, C:D), feed-forward control (C:FF) for stabilizing controller behavior, and ramp times for pressure build-up and reduction (RA:UP/DOWN). Critical settings for the output stage include nominal current (CURRENT), dither parameters (frequency and amplitude), and PWM frequency.

The configuration is carried out on a PC using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.

A standout feature of the MDR-133-P is its extremely high signal resolution, making it ideal for test benches and high-precision applications.
