PAM-140-P

Flexible mobile amplifier

Description

The PAM-140-P is a robust valve amplifier in an IP 65 housing for wall or machine frame mounting. It offers digital settings, free scalability of the input signal and parameterization via buttons/switches or USB/LIN bus.

Features

Power stage
Analog demand signal setting
PWM controlled output for one solenoid
USB communication interface for monitoring and parameterization via ULA-310

Technical Data

Features

The PAM-140-P serves as a current-controlled valve amplifier for controlling proportional valves with a magnet.

The encapsulated IP 65 housing with PG cable glands is intended for permanent mounting on the machine frame or on a wall. This decouples the electronics from the vibrations and thermal load on the valve.

The electrical connections are implemented via tool-free push-in spring-loaded terminals. There are variants for voltage inputs (0…10 V for -A) and current inputs (4…20 mA for -I). The maximum output current is 2.5 A. An additional reference voltage output can be used to supply external potentiometers.

The adjustable core parameters are identical to the PAM-190-P series and include ramps (R:UP/DOWN), MIN/MAX scaling, dither (DFREQ, DAMPL) and the PWM frequency.

Optionally, the configuration can be carried out manually using the device using the integrated buttons and switches or PC-supported using the USB/LIN bus programming adapter (ULA-310) via software. The full range of functions is only available via the PC interface.

The PAM-140-P is the optimal choice for all mobile hydraulic applications or stationary applications where a high protection class and an assembly that is decoupled from the valve position are required. It is available in versions -A (voltage) and -I (current).
