The PAM-190-P-I is a current-controlled valve amplifier designed to drive single-solenoid proportional valves.
The unit is housed in a DIN EN 175 301-803 A connector housing and plugs directly onto the valve coil. Connection on the input side is made via a 5-pin M12 connector, ensuring quick and error-free installation.
Control is achieved via a 4–20 mA analog signal. The maximum output current of the PWM power stage driving the solenoid is 2.5 A. Current regulation is independent of supply voltage and solenoid resistance.
Key adjustable parameters include separate ramp times (R:UP/DOWN), output scaling (MIN/MAX), dither settings to minimize hysteresis (DFREQ, DAMPL), and the PWM frequency.
Configuration can be performed either manually on the device using integrated buttons and switches, or via PC using the WPC-300 software and a USB/LIN-bus programming adapter (ULA-310). Full functionality is available only via the PC interface.
The PAM-190-P-I is the robust standard solution for applications that do not require advanced characteristic curve adjustment.
