The PAM-199-P-PDP combines the functions of the proven PAM-195-P and PAM-196-P modules into a single unit with Profibus control. Flexible parameterization allows for adaptation to all standard proportional directional, flow control, and pressure valves.
The PAM-199-P-PDP is a current-controlled, multifunctional valve amplifier designed to drive proportional valves with one or two solenoids, as well as two independent valves.
The module is intended for installation within a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.
Control is achieved via Profibus. The maximum output current of the PWM power stage driving the solenoids is 2.6 A. Current regulation is independent of supply voltage and solenoid resistance.
The central parameters include separate ramp times for the four quadrants AA:1-AA:4, the scaling of the output (MIN/MAX), dither to minimize hysteresis (DFREQ, DAMPL) as well as the PWM frequency and the maximum output current CURRENT.
Configuration is performed via PC using WPC software - either through the integrated USB interface or, alternatively, via the Profibus interface.
The PAM-199-P-PDP is a multifunctional valve amplifier for all common types of proportional valves with Profibus control.
