PAM-392-P

Onboard directional valve control

Description

PAM-392-P is a two-channel valve amplifier specifically for directional control valves. It processes bipolar input signals, offers characteristic linearization over 21 points to improve the valve characteristics and allows direct parameterization via an integrated mini-USB interface.

Features

As a current-controlled dual power amplifier, the PAM-392-P was developed specifically for the precise and dynamic control of proportional directional control valves with two magnets (A and B).

The main module in the DIN EN 175 301-803 A connector housing is mounted directly on magnet A. A second DIN connector, connected via cable, is connected to magnet B, allowing for a clean and compact installation. The input signals are connected via a flexible cable with a 5-pin M12 connector.

The device also has an integrated USB type mini port for direct parameterization. The device processes bipolar input signals such as +/-10 V or 4...12...20 mA and delivers two PWM outputs with a maximum current of 2.6 A each.

Key features include a four-quadrant ramp (AA:1-4) and separate MIN/MAX settings for both magnets. The main feature is the bipolar characteristic linearization (CC) over 21 support points, which enables exact compensation of the non-linear valve behavior over the entire bipolar control range.

The configuration is carried out on a PC using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface. Manual device-supported parameterization is not possible.

This model is the dedicated, highly flexible solution for all proportional directional control valve applications that require the highest precision and adaptability to realize complex motion sequences.
