The PAM-198-P is used for the precise control of proportional valves with electrical feedback.
The PAM-198-P is a current-controlled valve amplifier for controlling proportional slide valves.
The module is intended for installation in a shielded EMC housing (switch cabinet) and is mounted on a DIN mounting rail. The protection class is IP 20.
A 4...20mA or 0...10V input signal is used for setpoint processing. A 4...20 mA signal or a 0... 10V input signal is also used for the position of the sliding position. The maximum output current of the PWM power amplifier for controlling the magnets is 2.6A. The current control is independent of the supply voltage and magnetic resistance.
The central parameters of the PAM-198-P for position control include the PID controller parameters (C:P, C:I, C:D, C:FF) and the integrator control (C:I_LIM, C:I_ACT, C:I_DZ), the four-quadrant ramp function (RA:1-RA:4) for setpoint switching as well as the magnet nominal current (CURRENT) and the dither settings (DFREQ, DAMPL).
The configuration is carried out on a PC using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.
The PAM-198-P is a valve amplifier for all common proportional spool valves and enables precisely controlled control.
