Features

The POS-124-U-PDP hydraulic control unit is designed to control two hydraulic positioning axes that can operate either independently or in synchronized mode.

The unit is designed for installation within a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a standard DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.

The two axes are controlled via analog outputs (+/-10 V or 4–20 mA). Feedback devices can include either analog position sensors (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) or digital SSI sensors. The setpoint is specified via the Profibus interface.

Key parameters include VMODE (defining the type of position control) and SYNCMODE (defining the type of synchronization). SYNCWIN defines the tolerance for synchronization errors. Braking distances (D:A/D:B) or loop gain (V0) determine the dynamic behavior of each axis.

Parameterization is performed via PC using WPC software - either through the integrated USB interface or, alternatively, via the Profibus interface.
