This control unit has been specially developed for the swivel angle control of control pumps with integrated power output stage. The special feature is the extremely fast current control with a cycle time of 125µs, which enables highly dynamic pump adjustment.
The PQP-171-P hydraulic control unit is a universal pump control module specifically designed for the swashplate control of variable displacement pumps with an integrated power output stage.
The unit is designed for installation within a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a standard DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.
Scalable analog signals in the range of 0–10 V or 4–20 mA are used for setpoint and actual values. The integrated PWM power output stage controls proportional valves with one or two solenoids and delivers a regulated output current of up to 2.6 A.

Parameterization is performed PC-based using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.
Special features of the device include continuous monitoring for cable breaks and short-circuit protection of the output stage. A digital switching input also allows direct control of the output stage with a fixed value, enabling the pump to be moved to a defined end position independently of setpoint and actual values.
