Features

The PQP-176-P hydraulic control unit is a universal pump control module for cascade control, combining the swashplate, pressure, and power control of variable displacement pumps in a single device. It is designed as a robust and space-saving solution for controlling directional control valves with one or two solenoids.

The unit is designed for installation within a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a standard DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.

The input and output options include freely scalable analog inputs for the swashplate setpoint, the actual value, and the pressure setpoint and actual value in the range of 0–10 V or 4–20 mA. The integrated PWM power output stage provides a maximum output current of 2.6 A, while alternatively, an analog control signal can be used for control valves with OBE (On-Board Electronics).

Key parameters include the PID settings for the swivel angle (CQ) and pressure regulator (CP), as well as power limit data such as motor speed (RPM), displacement volume (QMAX), and the desired power limit (PL).

Parameterization is performed PC-based using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.

A special feature of the controller is its swivel angle limitation function (CQ:LF) and support for mooring operation for active pressure reduction. Furthermore, two separate parameter sets for pressure control can be defined and switched between via a digital input during operation.
