The SCU-138-P hydraulic control unit is a universal module for speed control using pulse generators. It is optimized for controlling continuous-acting valves with one or two solenoids.
The unit is designed for installation within a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a standard DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.
The SCU-138-P features an integrated power output stage capable of delivering up to 2.6 A. The setpoint can be specified via an analog signal (0–10 V or 4–20 mA), a PWM signal, or a fixed internal setting. Pulse generators connect directly to the digital inputs.
Key parameters include PID controller settings (C:P, C:I, C:D), feed-forward control (C:FF), and output stage settings such as nominal current (CURRENT) and dither parameters. Error handling can be customized using the SENS command.
The configuration is carried out on a PC using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.
Notable features include a motorized potentiometer function, support for PWM setpoints, and a fixed speed control mode for generators, allowing the unit to operate independently of external setpoints.
