Features

This hydraulic control unit is a special version of the universal UHC-126-U-PFN, optimized specifically for use in distributed synchronization systems. It combines position and pressure control via a Profinet interface.

The unit is designed for installation within a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a standard DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.

The hardware features a programmable differential output (±10 V or 4–20 mA) and supports SSI interfaces for position resolution down to 1 µm. Up to two analog pressure sensors can be connected for differential pressure measurement. Setpoints are provided via Profinet.

A key parameter is the MR controller (model-based controller)—with its time constants MR:T1 and MR:T2—which enables load-independent synchronization. Other important settings include acceleration feedback (AFC) for stabilizing low-frequency drives and switchable PID parameter sets for the pressure controller.

Parameterization is performed via PC using WPC software connected through the integrated USB interface.

The key feature of the UHC-126-U-PFN-S2 is the implementation of load-independent, distributed synchronization using the MR reference model. This allows multiple axes across different physical devices to move in precise synchronization with a velocity resolution of up to 0.005 mm/s.
