Description

This system of hydraulic control units combines position and synchronization control with integrated pressure-limiting control for up to four axes via a Profibus interface. A key feature is the priority force-limiting function, which automatically and seamlessly takes over from the position control as soon as predefined pressure thresholds are reached.

This system of hydraulic control units combines position and synchronization control with integrated pressure-limiting control for up to four axes.
The unit is designed for installation within a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a standard DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.
The module provides programmable control signal outputs (±10 V or 4–20 mA) to drive external valve electronics. A key feature is its digital SSI interface for high-precision position sensing, along with inputs for up to two analog pressure sensors per axis. Control is primarily handled via Profibus and the PCK-306.
Key parameters include the Profibus address (PDPADR) and the monitoring of following error via POSWIN:D. For pressure limiting, the pressure controller's PID parameter sets (C1/C2:P/I/D) and the integrator activation threshold (I_ACT) are significant. The VMODE parameter toggles between position-dependent braking and the NC profile generator.
Parameterization is performed PC-based using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.
The key feature of the CSC-156 is its priority-based force/pressure limiting, which seamlessly overrides position control as soon as preset pressure thresholds are reached. The system is also capable of drift compensation and fine positioning to eliminate static errors within the target range.
