The MDR-137-P is a compact system with an integrated power output stage for the stable control of pressure valves or servo pumps. Its key feature is its application-oriented operation, which ensures a very short training period while maintaining high control stability.
This hydraulic control unit is a compact rotary control module designed to operate pressure valves and servo pumps. It was developed to deliver reproducible results in applications where simple open-loop control systems are insufficient.
The unit is designed for installation within a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and mounts onto a standard DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.
The MDR-137-P features an integrated PWM power output stage capable of up to 2.6 A. Setpoint and actual value inputs are handled via analog interfaces (0–10 V or 4–20 mA). Two digital inputs control the regulator function.
Key parameters include the PID controller (C:P, C:I, C:D) with feed-forward control (C:FF), as well as output stage settings such as nominal solenoid current (CURRENT), PWM frequency, and dither. Integrator control (C:I_LIM/C:I_ACT) prevents unwanted integrator wind-up.
The configuration is carried out on a PC using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.
A distinctive feature of this module is its application-oriented design, which allows for a very short learning curve while still providing high stability when controlling remote-adjustable pumps or force control systems.
