PQ-132-U

p/Q control concept
with pressure limitation

Description

The PQ-132-U implements the classic p/Q control concept by combining volume flow control with automatic, step-over pressure limiting control. It also supports differential pressure control via two sensors, enabling reverse response in case of force exceedance.

Features

Pressure control
Volume flow control
Extended control functionality
Analog demand signal setting
Unipolar analog sensor interfaces
Bipolar analog control output
USB communication interface for monitoring and parameterization

Technical Data

Features

This hydraulic control unit is used for controlling and regulating the pressure of hydraulic axes according to the classic p/Q control concept. It combines flow rate control with automatic pressure limiting control.

The control unit is designed for installation in a shielded EMC enclosure (control cabinet) and is mounted on a DIN rail. It has an IP20 protection rating.

The PQ-132-U features a configurable differential output for proportional valves with integrated electronics (+/-10V or 4...20mA). It processes analog Q setpoints (flow rate) and p setpoints (pressure), as well as signals from up to two pressure sensors for differential pressure calculation.

Key parameters include the switchable PID parameter sets for the pressure regulator (P, I, D) and ramp times for pressure build-up and release. Cylinder geometry can be taken into account via ARATIO.

Configuration is performed via PC using the WPC software via the integrated USB interface.

The special feature lies in the automatic switching between speed and pressure control as well as the possibility of differential pressure calculation with two sensors, which enables a reverse maneuver in case of force exceedance.
